Not a fan

Lyla's a mouth-breather, so even though we positioned her fan to blow away from her, it still apparently cyclones the air about, resulting in a dry cough and morning breath so bad it singes your eyebrows. According to Julie, a sound machine will solve all that and more.

"So we're replacing Lyla's fan with something like fan that sounds like a fan but doesn't blow like a fan--and costs a lot more than a fan?"

Julie bought it online. It reminds me of those jelly beans that taste like food but don't provide nourishment.

"I bought one for our room too," Julie replied, placing her hands on her hips pregnantly. "People on Amazon love them."

I'll suspend judgment for now, but it's hard to believe I'll become a fan of the non-fan fan.

In other news, the kids at daycare decorated hats today.

I think she's ready for Project Runway.
