Easter pig

We gave Lyla an Easter tube instead of a basket. She approved.


In other news, this is ham:


Minutes earlier, it was three times that size. As I tore dainty scraps for her, Uncle Scott dropped the whole hock on her tray. We watched the carnage in horror.



We did mention briefly to Lyla that she was eating ham from a pig, oink oink. Then after Easter brunch, we took her to the zoo. Outside it, to advertise their new farm babies exhibit, there's a large and expressive picture of a pig. Lyla ran up to it and said hi and then bye-bye. The tone of her bye-bye did not seem to imply "I'm going to eat you," but it might've just been too subtle.

  4. NICE job Dan!! Love the dress. Matt's cousin just bought one for Ava and I can't wait to put her in it!! :) It's a 6M but she's getting so big I think it will fit her now!
