Our friend Luke is in town. Lyla wants to marry him.
In other news, we've done a wonderful job teaching Lyla colors.
"Lyla, what color is the whale?"
"Red!"
"The whale is blue. Bloooo. What color is the whale?"
"Red!"
"Okay fine. Lyla, see the circle?"
"Suh-cuh!"
"The circle is yellow. Yell-oh."
"Red!"
"Lyla, what color is the blue whale?"
"Lellow!"
Awwww but you have to admire her enthusiasm!

ReplyDeleteMom mentioned (2 weeks ago, when this was posted) that she believes you may have misquoted your daughter. Cuz Lyla says her name as "Yaya," so wouldn't she say "yeyyow" instead of "lellow"?
