That's one of those pregnancy bump simulators in a maternity clothing store. Lyla's obsession with babies continues. She ran around the whole store with it on, played hide and seek in the racks of clothes, and periodically checked up on her mother in the dressing room.
This evening a real live baby came over.
Lyla helped with Ava by giving her a binky and then waiting for her to drop it so she could give it to her again. "More," she would say when Ava wasn't dropping her binky quickly enough.
During Ava's diaper change in the living room, Lyla practically sat on her.
We find out the new kid's gender in a little over a week. Plenty of names would work fine if coworkers of Julie's or former students of mine hadn't already taken them. So basically ours will be Frizzilda if it's a girl or Perviam if it's a boy.
