In a couple hours Julie and I will leave for two nights in Grand Marais on Lake Superior. The young lady in the photo above will be left in the capable hands of her Grandma Jackie. Jackie brought bubbles, sidewalk chalk, and I can't even imagine how much contraband. Chocolate? Full-length Elmo videos? Bags of sugar? Lyla's in for a good time.
So are we. Our number one objective is to sleep in, and our number two objective is to read. I believe Julie's number three objective is to eat potatoes, so my number three objective is to obtain potatoes.
Julie must have sensed me thinking about potatoes; she just came downstairs. Time to make her an egg sandwich and then get on the road.
