Replacing the pantry sarcophagus

Half of our kitchen looks pretty good, but the other half looks like it scored a C+ as someone's final project in shop class. The most offensive piece is a seven-foot-tall monstrosity that I guess is supposed to be a pantry.

Julie decided she was up for venturing out of the house for the first time since last Tuesday, so we dropped off Lyla with Auntie Lori for a couple hours and went to IKEA to buy half a kitchen.

Maybe we'll donate the old pantry monstrosity to a haunted house to be used as a sarcophagus or something.

The 30+ IKEA boxes will be delivered tomorrow. We might hire a contractor to do assembly and installation. How do people do major home projects when they have a busy one-year-old?
